    Much like palm fruit harvesting, this drought-tolerant and eco-friendly plant, has gotten a bad rap. Greed has led to some manufacturers refining agave beyond recognition, increasing fructose levels by adding genetically modified enzymes and clarifiers to turn agave sap into syrup, stripping it of it's natural health benefits and resulting in a sweetener closer to high fructose corn syrup than organic blue agave.

    You'll only find organic blue agave in our products - never refined and always packed with natural goodness. Sweet 😉

    Health Benefits - Blue agave is roughly 1.5 times sweeter than table sugar, allowing for smaller quantities to be used. It also contains plant inulin, a type of prebiotic fiber that promotes healthy gut bacteria and gut health!

    Agave syrup has a low glycemic index ranging from 10 to 27. That's much lower than table sugar which is around 68, or honey, around 58! This low rating results in a small, slow rise in blood sugar, making it more ideal for diabetics.
