Wholesome Bakery’s story began 15 years ago in founder and Chef Mandy Harper’s apartment kitchen, but its roots go much deeper. Raised by a Native American mom who refused to use refined sugars, wheat, or artificial ingredients, Mandy grew up with a strong understanding of how food could nourish the body. Having worked in the food industry since she was 15, Mandy began her own journey—literally—by turning her kitchen into a baking lab, where she crafted treats that not only tasted good but were also good for you. From those humble beginnings, Wholesome Bakery has grown into something much bigger, proving that indulgence can still mean caring for our bodies, our communities, and the planet!
